Kanye West’s First Presidential Polling Numbers Isn’t Quite Impressive
Kanye West Gets Only 2% Of Vote, Pulling More From Donald Trump Than Joe Biden
Kanye West made a surprise late hour announcement that he’ll be running for the Presidential seat of the United States, joining Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the race.
He initially got supports from his celebrities friends, but quickly lost couple of them after his controversial interview with Forbes.
His chances of winning became very slim following his anti-vaccination and anti-abortion stances, his weird stand on the three topics during his interview with Forbes made many retract their supports for him.
Folks online speculated that Kanye is running to split Black people’s vote with Joe Biden and give Trump an edge of winning. Surprisingly, his first poll numbers are taking votes away from Donald Trump, and not Joe Biden as people had guessed.
According to Redfield & Wilton Strategies, who have been providing polling numbers in several important swing states, Kanye West is not one of the frontrunners in the 2020 Election.
When his name is included in the poll, he takes approximately 2% of the vote, pulling percentage points from Trump and Jorgenson.
