Kanye West Shares ‘DONDA’ Album Cover Art & New Release Date
Kanye West Pushes “DONDA” Album Release Date Further
About a week ago, Kanye West announced that his new album titled “DONDA” is about to drop with a release date and tracklist. Although he deleted the tweet just after making the announcement, “Donda” is scheduled to drop on the 24th of July.
The album title is reportedly an homage to West’s late mother, Donda West, who died on November 10, 2007, dealing with complications following surgery.
Unsurprisingly, DONDA didn’t drop and fans took to social media to find out what caused the delay and what they found was a statement from Kanye. He shared DONDA’s cover art on Twitter with the caption, “DONDA: WTH CHLD 7.28.20.”
Let’s just pretend to be shocked that donda didn’t drop on it’s scheduled release date 😗 pic.twitter.com/924Ke0VgQz

Ye also deleted all of his tweets as far back as July 18 when he laughed at people who believed that he would actually drop Yandhi after years of waiting.
People are speculating that it was Taylor Swift’s late-night announcement yesterday about her Friday release that made Kanye pushed his further.

Taylor Swift has already dropped an album on the 10 year anniversary of Kanye West’s mothers death. And now she’s dropping an album with 16 bundles on the same day as Kanye is set to drop an album titled after his mother. She’s not a good person. Fuck the Swiftys. Stream Donda ❤️ pic.twitter.com/Q9QRncKmnC
