Mase Says T.I. Has To Face Rick Ross For “King Of The South” Title
Mase Supports 50 Cent, Suggests T.I. Needs To Face Rick Ross For “King Of The South” Title
Rapper T.I has been moving different lately, challenging 50 Cent to a versuz battle and pressing further even when it seems Fif isn’t ready for it. Tip then went on to demand some respects on his name.
He’s undoubtedly done a lot for Hip Hop, influencing good number of new generation rappers. But T.I isn’t happy he’s not getting the kind of respect he thinks he deserves.
“I don’t think y’all know. Just cause I don’t jump up, step up on tables, kick over tables, and demand you to pay attention to me, that don’t mean… Listen, man. You ‘gon have to put mine up there. You gotta go talk to Jay-Zs, you gotta go talk to Kanyes. You gotta go talk to Lil Waynes,” he ranted some days ago.
However, Mase recently joined the T.I and 50 Cent discussion. During a conversation with Mreck TV, Mase shared controversial comments about a Verzuz battle between 50 Cent and T.I.
Repping New York, Mase sided with Fif and suggested that T.I. would have to compete for the title of King Of The South. According to Mase, Rick Ross holds that title. “I’d have to go with 50. I’m from New York,” Mase said.
“I think T.I. got a lot of great records. I would wanna see T.I. versus Ross, though. I think Ross would be more with [what] the South need because he wanna claim that King Of The South. He gotta beat Ross.”
