T.I. & Snoop Dogg Slam Kanye West Over Harriet Tubman Comments
Kanye West has been trending since his first presidential campaign speech last night, where he seemingly had a break down on stage about how he nearly aborted his daughter North and that he would be at peace if Kim Kardashian divorces him over the speech.
The business mogul also tried to defend his slavery remarks but ended up causing more controversy. “Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people,” he said.
His comments has since been getting reactions on social media and people actually think he’s not fit for the presidential seat. 50 Cent also reacted, blaming Jay Z for Kanye’s weird behaviors.
Snoop Dogg also offered his prayers to Kanye West, while highlighting the importance of Tubman as a historical figure. Thank u queen Harriet,” he captions, alongside an image of Tubman. “@jesusisking [prayers] for u brother.”
T.I also took to his Instagram page to issue a statement concerning Kanye’s comments. “Nahhhh WE Can’t let you do that Ye’,” he wrote under a picture of Harriet Tubman.
“What WE NOT gon do is slander nor disrespect the legacy of our heroic Queen Harriet Tubman by telling falsities in an attempt to discredit the contributions she made to LIBERATE OUR PEOPLE.”
He continued, “Cuzz U BUGGIN THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TOO FAR. I truly hope you either have a logical explanation for all this… or get the medical attention you so desperately need Bro. I say this with love and sincerity.”
