Taylor Swift Disses Kanye West On New Song ‘Peace’ Off ‘Folklore’ Album
Taylor Swift Low Key Shades Kanye West On Her New Album “Folklore”
Kanye West and Taylor Swift have been at odds for years and even though they tried to ignore the situation, it keeps coming back year in year out. It all started when Ye disrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
The feud was awaken earlier this year, when Kanye West phone call to Taylor Swift which was probably recorded by Kim Kardashian in 2016 leaked online.
The leaked clip showed Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian as the manipulative ones after they claimed Taylor Swift was informed about a controversial lyrics of Kanye’s “Famous”.
However, Taylor Swift dropped her new album ‘Folklore’ last week, which is expected to debut at #1 after selling over a million copies worldwide over the weekend, The pop superstar unsurprisingly dissed Kanye on the album, subliminally calling him a clown.
“But there’s robbers to the east/Clowns to the West,” sings Taylor on her new song “peace.” In the lyric video, and on Apple Music, she made sure to make a statement with the way she capitalized the directions, leaving “east” in all lower-case letters but adding a capital W to “West” in the next line. Sneaky, sneaky.
