Drake and Drake shares a very strong bond and their relationship has been one of the best in the history of Hip Hop. Drake sees Wayne as his mentor and father in the music scene. He’s sang praises of Weezy multiple times and he seems to just can’t pay homage enough.

Tunechi is regarded as the ‘GOAT’ by some Hip Hop fans, while that is debatable, it doesn’t change the fact that he is one of the greatest rappers to ever hold a mic.

“You got so many joints. You got so many songs that’s like…I remember one of the biggest things in life was reminding you of the songs,” Drake said about Wayne’s vault on Young Money Radio back in May.

Recently, Elliott Wilson, a renowned hip-hop media personality, shared a portion of his interview with Lil Wayne where he speaks about how he has always believed in Drake. Dropping a comment on the post, Drake returned the love.

“This man believed in me after so many never called again or just didn’t see it to begin with,” the “Laugh Now Cry Later” crooner wrote in the comments section.

“Most selfless artist ever never held any of us back always pushed us forward every single night in people faces 20k packed into an arena and he had a whole set of his show dedicated to introducing us FOR YEARS…all praise and credit due to the [GOAT].”
