A lot of people have been dissociating themselves from Tory Lanez following accusations that the Canadian rapper shot Megan Thee Stallion. Kehlani was the first to prove her loyalty to Thee Stallion by removing Tory’s verse from her song.

“This situation was involving someone that I [am] extremely close to, so I just felt like on some loyal shit, and on some do the right thing, you have to be responsible,” she explains in a new interview with Chicago radio station WGCI.

“This situation was involving someone that I [am] extremely close to, so I just felt like on some loyal shit, and on some do the right thing, you have to be responsible. Absolutely I’m changing up the record,” Kehlani added. “It was business and it was also loyalty to a situation. This is not an industry friendship. That’s really my friend and someone I say I love you to.”

However, Megan Thee Stallion confirmed not quite long that it was Tory who shot her, and this has made another female artist JoJo, show her loyalty to Megan by removing Tory’s verse off her song too.

When a fan tweeted to JoJo asking if Lanez will appear on the deluxe version of her recently released album. The singer responded saying: “Def took him TF off.”

JoJo and Tory Lanez collaborated on the song Comeback’ for the standard album, alongside 30 Roc. After announcing that he will no longer appear on the project, she then tweeted out her support for Megan.

LOVE RESPECT AND PEACE AND PROTECTION TO @theestallion.” Fans then launched a petition to get Megan Thee Stallion on the song instead, which JoJo simply replied to saying; “I mean… she would fucking KILL IT.”
