L.A. District Attorney To Drop All Charges On Tory Lanez – Report
L.A. District Attorney To DROP All Charges On Tory Lanez: ‘No Evidence Of A Crime’
Last month, Tory Lanez was arrested during a night out with Megan Thee Stallion on gun charge. Cops found a gun after searching the car and Tory was taken to the police precinct where he was charged with carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle which is a felony.
Megan was rushed to the hospital for the injuries she sustained. Initially, it was reported that her wounds was as a result of a broken car window.
However, Megan confirmed last week that she was indeed shot twice in the foot by Tory Lanez. But acccording to new reports, the Los Angeles District Attorney is planning on dropping all criminal charges against Tory Lanez.
The Canadian was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon after he was detained leaving the area before dawn July 12 in a vehicle that eyewitnesses said may have been connected to reports of the shooting.
Unfortunately, the District Attorney doesn’t have sufficient evidence to charge Tory, either with the gun or the shooting. An insider explained, “They arrested Tory to quick, without evidence. They don’t have proof the gun was Tory’s, or that he shot anyone.”
And the insider claims that the prosecutors will likely drop charges against Tory. “They have no case, that’s why [Tory Lanez] is out. No evidence.”
