Nas Thinks It’s Coincidence Jay Z Drops Same Time As Him
Nas Speaks On Whether Jay-Z Is Shading Him By Dropping Music On His Release Days
Fans believe that Jay Z and Nas‘ longtime beef was revived when HOV dropped on the same day Nas released his album ‘King’s Disease’. It’s speculated that Jay Z intentionally releases music on the same days as Nas so he can outshine him.
Last week Friday, Jay Z was featured on Pharrell Williams song “Entrepreneurer” which dropped same night that Nas’ album was released.
Surprisingly, Nas is not riding with the rumors that Jay intentionally drops to outshine him. The veteran rapper revealed during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club that it’s probably just a coincidence.

“I think maybe there’s an energy that we both have where maybe we work around the same time,” said Nas before DJ Envy cut him off to give him a rundown of some of the times Jay-Z has dropped at the same time as him.
Nevertheless, Nas was surprised that it happened so often but still, he’s not convinced it’s intentional. “That’s a hell of a coincidence,” he Nas. However, it didn’t stop Nas from raking in impressive numbers for the album’s first week sales.
Nas also spoke about whatever happened to his collaborations with The Notorious B.I.G., revealing that he was supposed to work on a few songs with the rapper, including a remix of “Gimme The Loot”.
Unfortunately, the weed they were smoking in the studio was so strong that he ended up getting too high and he completely zonked out, as reported by HNHH.
