Nas Disses Doja Cat On New Song “Ultra Black”
Nas Blasts Doja Cat Over Racial Comments On His New Song “Ultra Black”
Doja Cat made controversial headlines some months back with #DojaCatIsOverParty trending on Twitter. It all started when videos of her sessions on TinyChat groups with alt-righters, racist, and “incels” surfaced online.
The rapper’s alleged old racial tweets was also dug out, and her old song ‘Dindu Nuffin’, accompanying her videos in group chat with racist White people.
Doja has since issued an apology for the alleged racial comments. “I want to address what’s been happening on twitter. I’ve used public chat rooms to socialize since I was a child,” she began in her Instagram post at the time.
“I shouldn’t have been on those chat room sites, but I personally have never been involved in any racist conversation. I’m sorry to everyone I’ve offended. I’m a Black woman, half of my family is Black from South Africa and I’m very proud of where I came from,” she added.
But her apology wasn’t really accepted as she still has fans referencing the clips till this day. However, veteran rapper Nas, is the latest to weigh in on the matter, and he did so on his newly released song.
Nas is about to drop another album and he dropped “Ultra Black” last night off the upcoming project where he embraces his color and heritage.
In his lyrics, the legendary emcee calls out Doja, saying: “We goin’ ultra black, unapologetically black/The opposite of Doja Cat, Michael Blackson black.”
