YBN Cordae Officially Drops ‘YBN’ From His Name After YBN Disbands
YBN Cordae Officially Changes Name To Cordae On Social Media & All Streaming Platforms
YBN (Young Boss Ni**as) group has disbanded and YBN Cordae has officially changed his name to Cordae, dropping the YBN on his social media pages and all streaming platforms.
The group ‘YBN’ was originally a gaming collective where Nahmir and his friends Cordae and Almighty Jay connected through Grand Theft Auto V.
But YBN Cordae who joined in 2018 has been the most successful one so far. His debut album in 2019 earned his first ever Grammy nomination. He’s doing so good that Lil Wayne willingly offered to feature on his next album.
However, it appears he won’t let the group’s disbandment slow him down. Over the weekend, eagle eye in HipHopNMore noticed that the rapper had changed his name to just “Cordae” on both his Twitter and Instagram.
On Twitter, his username still remains @YBNCordae due to non-availability of the handle but on IG, it’s officially @Cordae. This is also his real first name.
It’s also noted that YBN Cordae officially changed his name to Cordae on TIDAL, Spotify, and Amazon.
YBN Nahmir had since announced that YBN is no longer a crew and he’s ready to solely keep the flag flying. “They left this YBN shit in the gutter. Remember that. I’ll turn it up myself. #ybnNAHMIR.”
