Big Sean & Desiigner React To Kanye Giving Back G.O.O.D Music Artists Full Ownership Of Their Masters
About a week ago, Kanye West began campaigning to regain the ownership rights to his own master recordings. He took to Twitter at the time, calling out recording company over the issue. And now, it appears, he wants to lead by example.
“The artist deserve to own our masters … artist are starving without tours … Ima go get our masters … for all artist … pray for me,” Ye wrote in one his numerous tweets last week.
Well, the rap and business mogul has now come up with the same thing for each one of the artists signed to his very own record label, G.O.O.D Music.

“I’m giving all Good music artist back the 50% share I have of their masters,” Kanye tweeted. The tweet came as a surprise to many and has since been garnering reactions from folks on social media.
Big Sean, who’s currently signed to the label caught up with the news and showed his profound joy, appreciating Ye’s generosity. “Thank you!!! This would help so much,” he wrote in response.
Desiigner, who hasn’t really been in good terms with Kanye also showed his appreciation for Kanye with a simple “Thanks,” alongside a few gratitude-depicting emojis.
However, Kanye has not elaborated on whether he intends to make any retroactive adjustments, or whether this new arrangement will be strictly in effect moving forward.
