Folks online have been patiently waiting for Bobby Shmurda to get out of jail. Couple of months back, the internet went wild over fake reports that the rapper is getting released. Unfortunately, it appears Bobby will be serving his full sentence, only getting out in December 2021.
Back in August, Bobby Shmurda’s mom Leslie Pollard, was in contact with The Shade Room, to which she issued a statement regarding his parole hearing.
“The parole hearing is scheduled for August 18th. We [are] very confident that things will go well, and as always we know God will see us through, he always does,” she said at the time, but things didn’t go as planned.
Bobby Shmurda’s representative learned today that he would likely not be free anytime soon, remaining locked up for the foreseeable future.
Acccording to TMZ, Bobby was denied his parole today. He had a hearing with the board last week and, while no reason was specified as to why he wouldn’t be getting out, he learned that he would most likely serve his full sentence.
That means that, until December 2021, the Hot Boy rapper is likely to remain behind bars. The media outlet recalls that several of the violations that Bobby has been handed during the last half-decade, including for drug possession, possession of a shank, fighting, and more.
