Cardi B Addresses Offset Divorce On Live, Says There’ll Be No More Lemonade Moment On New Album

Cardi B and Offset have been making news since she filed for divorce. And the news have already prompted other men to start shooting shots at the Bronx rapper. However, Cardi took to Instagram live last night to address the divorce reports.

The ‘Wap’ rapper debunked rumors swirling around on why she’s divorcing Offset, revealing that she just “got tired of arguing” with her husband.

Offset’s baby mama Shya L’amour is now getting into the picture and before things get too dramatic, Cardi has spoken out. She appreciated her fans for “all the love and prayers” they’ve been sending her, she said, “However, I don’t really need it. I’m okay. I wanted to let y’all know I have not shed not one tear.”

She then denied that she’s divorcing her husband of three years because she got cheated again, sharing, “Every single time that this guy has been so crazy, so f**ked up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, always sad because I don’t like that type of s**t. This time, I wasn’t crying.”

“You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that s**t that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating,” Cardi claimed. “I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole f**king complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bulls**t.”

The femcee went on explaining, “I just got tired of f**king arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave.”

Cardi also cleared up the rumor that she was going to have a “Lemonade” album. She emphasized that she once said she will have a album with “Lemonade moments” in a past interview – but she’s not doing that.

According to Cardi, her first album went 3x platinum and she doesn’t need to pull stunts. “Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart,” she said.

“I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man…sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.”
