DaBaby Sued For Attacking Hotel Employee
DaBaby Faces Lawsuit For Attacking Hotel Employee Last December
Rapper DaBaby has been hit with a lawsuit over his assault on a hotel employee last December. The rapper was involved in couple of assault cases last year, but this particular victim wouldn’t let it slide.
At the time, TMZ shared security camera footage that reportedly shows DaBaby roughing up a hotel worker.
DaBaby can be seen in the video following a male worker into the lobby of a Beverly Hills hotel on December 19. After they entered, he grabs the worker and throws him into a wall to have him fall into a chair.
Acccording to TMZ, Cristofher Pocasangre, the alleged victim, is suing the artist for assault, battery, infliction of emotional distress and other charges after their December 2019 confrontation.
Pocasangre claims that he was working at a Marriott near Beverly Hills, where he asked the “Suge” rapper for a photo. DaBaby declined. Pocasangre says he then took a selfie anyway, and DaBaby was not pleased.
DaBaby asked him to delete the selfie. Pocasangre deleted the image, but DaBaby still followed him into the hotel and physically assaulted him.
He claimed that DaBaby wasn’t happy enough and followed him into the hotel and assaulted him. DaBaby issued a statement on the footage at the time, saying: “That hotel worker you see me ‘pushing’ came up to me outside the hotel & asked could he record a video of me while I was holding my 2year old daughter,” he wrote.
“I calmly and respectfully said no and explained to him that him posting a video of me at the time would compromise the safety of me and my child by letting social media know where we were staying.”
