Kanye West Dragged On Twitter For Shouting Out Candace Owens

Kanye West often get criticized for his open support of President Donald Trump. Recently, he was slammed for his comments about slavery and Harriet Tubman.

Kanye West distanced himself from Candace Owens after he was said to have designed her “Blexit” shirts logo in 2018.

However, the rapper denied the claims and announced he would be distancing himself from Owens and politics altogether. Fast forward to yesterday, when Ye gave a shout out to Candace on Twitter.

On Thursday, the Presidential candidate tweeted a brief message to the controversial far-right commentator that elicited a hailstorm of backlash from folks online.

Kanye shared a photo of Candace Owen’s book set for release on September 15, Blackout: How Black American Can Make Its Second Escape From the Democratic Plantation, on Twitter with the caption: “THANK YOU CANDACE OWENS.”

Candace caught up with the shout out and responded saying, “You’re welcome! Thank you for inspiring me to be myself, unapologetically. Dragon energy.”
