Tekashi 6ix9ine Compares Himself To Tupac Shakur

Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s level of confidence could be absurd at times. Earlier this week, the rapper pranked his critics in what seems like a street interview where unsuspected fans were asked who they thought had better bars between Tupac Shakur and 6ix9ine.

Well, the rainbow haired rapper is not leaving it up to that. During his recent interview with the New York times, he boastfully compared himself to legendary Tupac Shakur.

The ‘Tattle Tales’ rapper has Twitter up in arms after he compared Tupac’s Shakur’s sexual assault offense with his own 2015 sex crime charge against a 13-year-old girl. “Tupac Shakur was convicted of rape,” he told the New York Times.

“Is Tupac Shakur loved or hated? Loved! What’s the difference between me and Tupac Shakur? I never caught a rape charge — ever.” 69 continued, “This is one of his biggest songs,” he said of Pac’s “Troublesome ’96.”

“What’s the difference between that and “Billy”? “A born leader, never leave the crib without my heater!” You’re telling me he gave back through his art? You’re lying to me. I got to feed what, in 2020, is relevant. I got to feed the masses. There’s no difference between me and Tupac Shakur.”

Overwhelming is an understatement of 6ix9ine’s comparison. During the same interview, Tekashi admitted to physically abusing his baby mama Sara Molina. But he claims he has apologized to her.

However, folks on Twitter have been dragging him over the comments. See some reactions below :
