Donald Trump Says He May Leave U.S. If He Loses Election
President Trump Threatens To Leave U.S. If He Loses Election
The long awaited 2020 presidential election is just in few weeks time. And as it stands, the polls are in favor of Joe Biden ahead of Donald Trump. Irregardless, the incumbent President is confident he’ll win the election.
Considering 2016 election results, it’s safe to say that polls don’t mean anything. However, Biden’s polls lead is much wider than Hillary Clinton’s.
Earlier this week, Trump was dragged on social media over viral clip of him dancing on stage at a campaign rally in Florida. He was seen dancing without mask to The Village People’s “YMCA,” which many found to be a graceless move, considering the ravaged state of the nation and his own COVID-19 diagnosis.
During a recent rally, Trump explained that a loss would be an embarrassment considering how he feels about Biden as a candidate. “Because you know what? Running against the worst candidate in the history of Presidential politics puts pressure on me,” Trump said.
“Could you imagine if I lose? I’m gonna say ‘I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics.’ I’m not going to feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country.”
Although Trump appeared to be joking at the notion, it will be interesting to see what he does, if he ends up losing the election.
