Drake Reaches Out To Fan Battling Brain Cancer With A Personal Birthday Message

Drake recently warm the heart of a 14 year old fan, Zelek Murray, who’s battling brain cancer. Zelek was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and for his 14th birthday, the teenager received a gift of a lifetime.

From his hospital bed, Zelek received a personal birthday message from his favorite rapper Drake, a gift that Zelek’s mother says meant the world to him.

Acccording to The Shade Room, Drake’s songwriter Mustafa The Poet told the rapper about Zelek’s story and helped make the magic happen.

“This was so heartfelt and touching because Drake took the time out to give my son words of encouragement and light during a time that’s been very dark for me and my family,” Zelek’s mother Temeka tells us. “The birthday has touched him in ways I’ll never be able to put into words.”

Temeka says she and Zelek truly appreciate Drake’s gesture and she feels Drizzy needs to be commended for what he’s done for her and her son.

She also wanted to thank everyone who reached out and sent prayers as well as messages of love and encouragement during her son’s battle with brain cancer.

“We truly appreciate all the love and support and we need your continued prayers,” she said.
