SZA Admits That She Dated Drake Following His Revelation On 21 Savage’s ‘Mr. Right Now’

Drake turned heads during his verse on 21 Savage’s song off his newly released album ‘Savage Mode 2’. The Toronto rapper claims he dated TDE songstress SZA back in 2008 on the song titled ‘Mr. Right Now’.

“Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait/’Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08.
If you cool with it, baby, she can still play
While I jump inside that box and have a field day,” Drake raps on the track.

Drizzy and SZA immediately began trending on social media with people criticizing Drake for having an affair with an underage. The news even prompted Gossip Of The City to slap her with another accusation that men ran a train on her before the fame.

She initially responded to the lyric by unfollowing Drake on Instagram. Just in time, she’s taken to Twitter to clarify the whole story. “So It was actually 2009 lol,” SZA tweeted on Sunday night, clarifying the slight inaccuracy.

“In this case a year of poetic rap license mattered lol. I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace.

“I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening,” she continued. “Completely innocent. Lifetimes ago.”
