Rapper Mulatto Called Out For Her Past As A ‘Weave Thief’

Mulatto has been making controversial headlines lately, following accusations of colorism after she called her stylist friend an “Orangutan” on Instagram live some weeks back.

“Y’all sensitive as fuck I’m cut different this new found fame gone take some getting used to smh,” she said in response to the criticism.

Again, Mulatto is trending on Twitter after multiple hair company employees called out the rapper for allegedly stealing weaves from them several years ago.

It all started when a shop owner claimed that Mulatto had stolen hair from her in the past. Then, within minutes, dozens of other shop owners shared their stories of Mulatto’s alleged weave thievery.

“Mulato legit stole my hair 2 years ago and I’ve just been pim watching her blow up lol now she’s blocked us what a loser had the nerve to say that was 2 years ago like money’s changed in 2 years get the fuckk outa here silly bitch,” a lady tweeted with receipts before others started sharing their stories.

Rapper Mulatto Called Out For Her Past As A 'Weave Thief'

The XXL Freshman rapper has also responded to the allegations. Although she didn’t deny, Mulatto claims her hairstylist stole all the wigs. “2yrs later Im getting 10k a post &STILL woulda tagged/reimbursed u if u approached me different boo,” she responded.

“My last hairstylist stole all my wigs when we parted ways &Im still resolving issues today bcus of it..waiting 2yrs for me to “blowup” sounds opportunistic its giving clout chaser.”
