Pop Smoke’s Killer Goes On IG Live; Appears To Brag About Murder
Pop Smoke‘s alleged killer went Live on Instagram yesterday and appeared to be bragging about the murder. Pop Smoke was killed on February 19, 2020, after being shot twice during a home invasion in Hollywood Hills, California.
Two of the suspects arrested were juveniles. Only four have faced charges so far. There are also reports that two of four suspects arrested and charged over the death of rapper Pop Smoke could be facing the death penalty.
Corey Walker, 19, and Keandre Rodgers, 18, were each charged with what authorities said was murder with the special circumstance that the killing occurred during the commission of a robbery and burglary, making it felony murder and puts the death penalty on the table.
According to the complaint, the defendants may also have gang ties. The other two defendants, ages 17 and 15, were each charged with one count of murder and robbery in juvenile court.
The suspects didn’t know Pop Smoke personally, Police believe they found his address through an accidental post on the rapper’s Facebook story, which revealed the address.
Last night, one of the alleged killers Corey Walker took to IG Live – and began throwing up gang signs on IG, while his fans and friends said “F*ck Pop Smoke” in the comments.
