JoJo Siwa Comes Out The Closet As Gay

TikTok star JoJo Siwa, officially came out as gay. The 17-year-old multi-millionaire recently took to social media platform Twitter, to make the shocking revelation.

JoJo tweeted a selfie of herself wearing a T-shirt that read, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.” Over the photo, JoJo wrote, “My cousin got me a new shirt.”

Speculation around JoJo’s sexuality began after she posted a TikTok of herself lip-syncing to Lady Gaga’s song, “Born This Way.” Part of the lyrics states: “No matter gay, straight, or bi / Lesbian, transgender life / I’m on the right track, baby / I was born to survive.”

Last year she made headlines after she confirmed her relationship with Mark Bontempo, the younger brother of Madison Bontempo. JoJo posted a TikTok video of the two wearing each other’s clothing as they danced to Mozzy and Iamsu! ‘s “Famous (I’m the One).”

They broke up in November and JoJo’s fans dragged him on Twitter, but she was quick to defend him.

“Relax. Your [sic] right, Mark doesn’t deserve hateful things like this. He deserves to have people support him. You have NO idea about mark and I’s relationship.”

She continued, “How much fun it was. how happy we both were, and how happy we both are. We decided it’s best for us to not be in a relationship…. that’s all,” she wrote.
