Trey Songz Has Been Released, Back on The Jet

Earlier on, reports circulated that Trey Songz has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a police officer. He was taken into custody on Sunday after he was recorded getting into an altercation with a police officer at the AFC Championship Game.

According to TMZ, it was during the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

The singer was filmed getting into a physical altercation with a police officer. The outlet reports that witnesses claim Songz was being heckled by others in the stands, and asked them to be quiet.

Songz was arrested and accused of trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. Later, a photo from jail suggests that he was agitated all night, appearing to be very angry in his booking photo.

While the picture is being coined a mugshot, it’s a little different than most celebrity booking photos you see on the internet. Trey Songz seemingly didn’t pose for his identification photos, with this shot appearing to have been taken as the singer sat down, handcuffed with his back to the wall.

Just in time, Trigga updated his Instagram story with a picture that shows him on jet, suggesting that he’s been released. “#Backhome,” he wrote on the image.
