Meek Mill Says He Apologized To Vanessa Bryant In Private
Meek Mill Finally Apologizes To Vanessa Bryant
Last week, Meek Mill made controversial headlines after a leaked snippet of a track surfaced. The song is said to be an unreleased collaboration between Meek and Lil Baby.
“And if I ever lack I’m going out with my choppa it be another Kobe / Sh*t I can tell they ain’t never know me.” Meek raps.
Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa, chimed in and checked Meek Mill for the disrespectful lyric. “Dear @meekmil , I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period,” she shared to her Instagram Story.
“I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband,” she continued. “This lacks respect.”
Meek was dragged again after tweeting: “I’m going back savage in this sh*t … f#%k ya feelings!” which many believed was his response to her comments. He later tweeted that he’d apologized to her and his previous Tweets weren’t for her.
“I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!” he wrote.
