G-Real’s Mother Confirms Her Son’s Death After Clout Chaser Caused Confusion

There have been confusion on whether the 2014 “I Got Time Today Cuz” viral sensation, G Real, is dead or not. It was first reported that the the White gangster was shot and killed in Colorado.

Later, a man decided to chase clout with the report, claiming to be Brown. He made a video stating, “I am not dead— I ain’t get smoked, I ain’t going to get smoked.”

Well, it has now been confirmed that Vincent Brown, aka G Real, was murdered. Local reports say Brown was found outside a tire show with several gunshot wounds.

Although the two men resemble each other, Brown’s mother, Linnea Brown, confirms his death in a heartbreaking Facebook post on March 22. She says, “I got the call that every mother dreads. My baby boy was found dead today. A piece of me has died as well.”

She goes on to say police are investigating the matter. She states, “I appreciate everyone that has reached out and sent condolences. For everyone and anyone wanting to know if I need anything… The police are trying to find out who did this to my baby.”

Aurora police announced a homicide investigation Monday after officers found a dead man with multiple gunshot wounds outside of a South Peoria Street tire store Sunday morning.

The Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. Police identified the victim as 22 year-old Vincent Brown.

Officers said they responded for a welfare check Sunday at 10 a.m. and found Brown outside of Front Range Tire near the intersection of East Cornell Avenue and South Peoria Street.
