DMX’s Daughter Sasha ‘Da Brat’ Shares Emotional Post After Father’s Death
On Friday, DMX was announced dead by his family after spending journey a week in critical care at the hospital. The 50 year old had suffered a heart attack on the heels of a drug overdose, following which he entered a coma for seven days.
DMX’s ex wife Tashera Simmons, has earlier shared a heartfelt post as a tribute to the rapper and now we’re hearing from his daughter Sasha, with whom he shared a great relationship over the years.
“Nothing will ever explain how i feel, how this all feels. My twin, i love you. there’s always been so many misconceptions about who the f*ck you were but that didn’t matter because i knew who the f*ck you were,” Sasha tweeted, alongside a picture of her with her father.

“Eternally greatful [sic] to have had you. i love you forever dad,” she added.
We reported earlier that DMX completed his album before giving up the ghost. Darrin “Dee” Dean of Ruff Ryders Inc. and Craig Brodhead, X’s manager, spoke to Lisa Evers shortly after news of X’s passing where they revealed that X had been cooking up new music throughout the pandemic.
They explained that they went down to Nashville for four months where they locked in the studio. “It’s sad that he’s not gonna be here, but the music…This album right here is special,” Dean said.
