Lindsay Lohan’s Father Michael Arrested For Allegedly Steering Addicts to Treatment Programs For Payment

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan, has found himself in some trouble after he allegedly was involved in a scheme that involved bringing drug addicts to treatment programs in exchange for money.

He was busted in Palm Beach Friday ‘ for allegedly pocketing at least $25,000 in illegal kickbacks in return for steering addicts including a woman he was sleeping with into a Florida drug treatment center.

There were reportedly more than 100 people arrested for being a part of the operation, which took place in Palm Beach County. Charging documents show that he is facing five counts of patient brokering and one count of attempted patient brokering.

State Attorney Dave Aronberg said, “Mr. Lohan was investigated by our Sober Homes Task Force and he’s being charged with receiving kickbacks for referring patients to drug treatment.

Patient brokering corrupts our health care system because decisions are motivated by greed instead of a patient’s needs.

According to NY Post, his lil tail collected bounties on addicts he referred to Pride Recovery Center in Delray Beach in 2017 and 2018.

He’s the 117th person busted in a crackdown on illegal “patient brokering,” according to Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg.
