Young Thug Drops $25K In Sneaker Store; Buys Entire Crowd A Pair Of Jordans

Young Thug recently had a Drake moment. Fans that came out to see the rapper, went home with a limited edition pair of Jordans.

Rapper Young Thug attended a public event at the DTLR store in Atlanta.  DTLR is aa nearly 40-year-old retailer with 247 U.S. stores.

DTLR, which runs stores in 19 states, sells itself as a shopping hub where young, trendsetting and multicultural consumers can find street-inspired footwear, apparel and accessories and brands such as Jordan, Nike and Adidas.

The retailer got its start as Downtown Locker Room and later rebranded under the DTLR name.

Young Thug noticed that hundreds of fans had to wait on line for hours, to get in – so he decided to buy them all a new pair of sneakers – whichever one they wanted.

According to MTO, the cost of Young Thug’s shopping spree was more than $25,000.

After hanging out with his fans, and doing media interviews – Thug spent time with the most important person in the room to him, his daughter.

The rap legend carried the smiling girl around on his shoulders – and the two looked like they were having a ball together.
