The Rock Says People Often Mistook Him For A “Little Girl” Growing Up

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson says that he was often mistaken for a girl when he was younger for his “soft features.” The former pro wrestler explained on Sunday Today with Willie Geist how it wasn’t uncommon for him to be called a girl.

“I would say between the ages of 7 and 11, people thought that I was a little girl because I had really soft features and I had really soft Afro hair,” the Jumanji star explained.

“I sit down next to a kid, and within 60 seconds, he goes, ‘Can I ask you something?’” Johnson continued. “I said, ‘Yeah.’ He goes, ‘Are you a boy or a girl?’”

The Rock recently acquired a $27.8 million on a Beverly Hills estate. According to report, the place was originally built by Alex Van Halen, which just goes to show the vast range of celebrities that have lived there.

The place is fairly stunning as it features six bedrooms, 11.5 bathrooms, and some massive entertainment rooms. There is a gym, swimming pool, tennis court, and a gorgeous backyard that will provide The Rock with plenty of time to explore around the property.

In April, a poll of more than 30,000 Americans conducted by Piplsay found that 46 percent of people would consider voting for the “Jumanji” star for president.
