Rolling Ray Shades Coi Leray For Not Winning At The 2021 BET Awards
Rolling Ray Shades Coi Leray’s Hairline, Braids & Outfits To The BET Awards
Rolling Ray and Coi Leray have been going back and forth on social media for a while now. It started with an argument on the word “Purrr.” As we all know, Rolling Ray says “purrr” quite often and many associate the word with him.
Then, Coi Leray and Pooh Shiesty released a song titled, “Big Purr,” and Rolling Ray isn’t a fan of Coi Leray using “Big Purr.”
Rolling Ray took to his Instagram account at the time, sharing a video where he let it be known that he needs recognition. He captioned the video with, “Aw @coileray Trying steal my worddddddd… aw i hate that for her.”

“How you gon’ try to steal my word?” Rolling Ray continued, “It never gave steal my word. On Purrr. Now, you call yourself Big Purr and actually running with my word.” Coi responded then saying: “First of all, I’m not big “purr.” It’s not ‘purr.’ I’m big “prrr.” It’s a difference. Stop playin’ with me.”
They’ve since been firing shots at each other on social media with legal threats. However, Coi Leray and her boyfriend Pressa attended the 2021 BET Awards last night looking all loved up.
Coi was nominated for Best New Artist and she made a splash on the red carpet with her ’90s-inspired braids. Rocking a cutout outfit, swirly baby hair, and curled ends. She paired it all with soft coral eye makeup and dramatically long lashes.
She lost out and her foe Rolling Ray, didn’t waste time in publicly rejoicing over it. “All the girls that went against me this year aint win no awards last night & hairlines, braids, & outfits was fucked up.!” Ray wrote.
“Got soo much money but gave that, & I know my shit caught on fire & all but yall could never say i rolled out the house looking crazy.Tables turned last night,” he added.
