Bill Cosby Accuser, Sunni Welles, Passes Away At 72
Actress Sunni Welles, who famously accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault, has passed away.
Variety reports that she was 72-years-old. Her son Shaun O’Banion confirmed broke the news on Twitter.
Welles was one of at least 60 women who accused Cosby of sexual assault, rape, drugging, and other sexual misconduct allegations. Welles claims that in the 1960s when she was 17 Cosby took her to a jazz club. She had only drunk a coke but woke up in an apartment in the nude, alone, with no recollection of leaving the club or having sex with anyone.

When she asked Cosby what occurred, he allegedly told her that she drank champagne and that he only took her to the apartment to sleep it off. She also claimed that Cosby took her to the Magic Castle, and the same thing happened once again.
“He was a star. He was Bill Cosby and I buried it in my memory until all of these brave women began to come forward,” Welles previously said of Cosby.
