Britney Spears’ Dog Reportedly Gets Taken Away From Her, Blames Dad Jamie
Although Britney Spears has been assuring fans that she is doing “ok” amid her conservatorship battle, more problems appear to just keep coming her way.
According to a new report by TMZ, the singer’s dogs were recently taken away from her and she’s putting the blame all on her father, Jamie Spears.
Sources directly connected to Britney tell the news site that around 2 weeks ago, one of her dogs became sick and the dog sitter who’s also a nurse, took that dog and Britney’s other dog to the vet. Instead of returning home, the dog sitter kept and took care of the dogs because she believed they weren’t safe at Britney’s home.
The entertainer’s housekeeper also believes the pets were being neglected — and that’s what triggered the confrontation between Britney and her housekeeper that led to a criminal investigation, TMZ reports.
Britney called the Ventura County Sheriff’s Dept. to report a theft, but decided not to move forward with doing that. Britney still does not have her dogs according to TMZ, and she reportedly suspects her dad had something to do with their disappearance.
The outlet adds that Britney believes the housekeeper who allegedly gets paid by Jamie sent Jamie the photos and he then called the dog sitter and told her to take the dogs away.
As of Thursday afternoon, Britney still did not get her dogs back. However, she’s hopeful that they will return.
