Their advertisement is asking for healthy and motivated non-smoking  U.S. citizens and permanent residents between the ages of 30 to 55 to participate in the study. Additionally, volunteers must have a degree in a STEM field or work experience. Four people will be picked for the experience as they will live in a 3D-printed bunker for a year that will be similar to the enviornement on Mars.

“Each mission will consist of four crew members living and working in a 1,700-square-foot module 3D-printed by ICON, called Mars Dune Alpha. The habitat will simulate the challenges of a mission on Mars, including resource limitations, equipment failure, communication delays, and other environmental stressors,” the post reads.
