Terry Crews Says You Don’t Need To Shower If You Haven’t Been Sweating

Terry Crews is currently trending on social media following his controversial statement that people don’t need to shower if they haven’t been sweating.

“I took three today, three, today. Me and Dwayne are right,” the actor began.

“I took one in the morning, after the workout, then I took one before I got here, then I took one in between acts… I love to shower because I spend so much time sweating.”

Crews added that he has to stay clean. “If you ain’t been sweating you don’t need to shower. But I spend all day sweating, running, and working out and it ain’t nice. I’m Mr. Old Spice, so I gotta get clean!”

He’s not the first celebrity to come out to say they do not shower every day. Jake Gyllenhaal says that while he does not take daily showers, he does brush his teeth.

“More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times,” he said, adding, “there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”
