Boosie Badazz Arrested Over Fight That Broke Out During His Concert
Boosie Badazz was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property, inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass in relation to a fight that took place at one of his concerts.
According to TMZ, the rapper was released from the Fulton County Jail on Tuesday afternoon after signing his own bond.
Earlier this month, the incident took place during the “Legendz of the Streetz” concert where Boosie and his associates allegedly damaged property owned by the venue and their production company during an altercation.
The Atlanta Police Department said there were no reported injuries from the incident. Boosie is still waiting for a pending court date but a rep from his team has yet to release a statement regarding the arrest.
The concert’s lineup included Lil Kim, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Gucci Mane, Trina, and DJ Drama.
Boosie took to Twitter after the incident where he announced that he was no longer allowed to perform at the Greensboro date of the tour. “Sayin’ they ain’t lettin’ me perform on the tour tonight. But, I’m at the afterparty. Yeah, bitch, we still gettin’ it.”
THEY TRYIN TO BAN ME FOR ME PROTECTING MY LIFE #godgotme[.] THAT TOUR NEED THIS LEGEND. IF NOT I AINT TRIPPING “IM GREAT,” he tweeted along with the video.
