Singer Chante Moore & BET Executive Stephen Hill Announce Their Engagement

R&B Singer Chante Moore, 54, is getting married again. The Chante’s Got A Man singer is now engaged to longtime BET executive, Stephen Hill.

Chante confirmed previously that the two are dating. And she announced on Stephen’s birthday (he just turned 60) that the couple is now engaged.

The singer is preparing to marry Stephen Hill who served as president of programming for BET Networks for 18 years. He’s credited with creating 106 & Park, and the BET Awards Show.

Chante Moore split with her second husband Kenny Lattimore after nearly a decade of marriage. Chante’s marriage to Kenny Lattimore lasted for a very long time by Hollywood standards but they were plagued with “gay” rumors throughout the marriage.

During the “R&B Divas LA” reunion show was when host Wendy Williams asked Chante Moore if her ex-husband, Kenny Lattimore, was secretly gay. Chante neither confirmed nor denied the rumors as to whether Lattimore is straight, bisexual or gay. Hmmm…

Instead she choose to leave that kind of reveal up to Lattimore himself.

“That really isn’t a comfortable thing to talk about. Being that he isn’t my husband anymore, I leave it up to him to answer because that’s his life,” said Chante.
