Halyna Hutchins’ Father Does Not Blame Alec Baldwin For Her Death

Halyna Hutchins’ father has spoken out about her death for the first time and says, Alec Baldwin shouldn’t be blamed for the accidental shooting.

Hutchins succumbed to her injuries from the shooting after she was airlifted to a nearby hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Baldwin has not been arrested or charged for the incident and he says he was unaware of the live round inside the prop gun. Hutchins’ father, Anatoly Androsovych, said in a statement to The Sun that the actor shouldn’t be blamed for his daughter’s death and the people handling the prop weapons should be held responsible for the incident.

‘‘We still can’t believe Halyna is dead and her mother is going out of her mind with grief. But I don’t hold Alec Baldwin responsible — it is the responsibility of the props people who handle the guns.”

Androsovych added that his grandson is not handling the loss of his mother very well and Hutchins’ husband is deciding whether to take legal action against the film’s production company.

‘The little boy has been very badly affected — he is lost without his mother. Matt will decide if legal action is going to be taken.’
