Dealer Who Supplied Drugs To Mac Miller Pleads Guilty To Fentanyl Charge

The man who prosecutors are accusing of indirectly supplying the late rapper Mac Miller with laced drugs, has pleaded guilty to fentanyl charges. The rapper died at age 26 after he was found dead of a drug overdose in 2018 in Studio City, California.

According to court documents that were obtained by TMZ, Stephen Walter has entered a guilty plea with the federal authorities on one count of distribution of fentanyl.

His other charge of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance was dropped. Prosecutors report that Walter gave Mac’s alleged dealer, Cameron James Pettit, Percocet tablets that were laced with the deadly drug.

Pettit allegedly messaged Walter who then sent someone to drop off the deadly concoction.

While Walter did agree to a plea deal, the maximum sentence he could face is over 20 years in prison, in addition to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of at least $1 million. Prosecutors are aiming for 17 years in prison and 5 years of supervised release.

Prosecutors also note that because Walter is pleading guilty he was well aware that the pills he sent off that night were laced with the deadly drug and had no regard for the person taking them.

In addition Walter was on a supervised release from another drug incident which makes matters worse for him.
