New Superman, Jon Kent, Son Of Clark Kent Comes Out As Bisexual In New Comic
DC Comics’ New Superman Jon Kent Comes Out As Bisexual In Upcoming Issue
In celebration of National Coming Out Day, DC announced that Jon Kent, the superpowered son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane will be coming out as bisexual in the new comic issue of Superman: Son of Kal-El #5.
Yup! You read that right. The description of the issue reads, “Just like his father before him, Jon Kent has fallen for a reporter.
After initially striking up a friendship with reporter Jay Nakamura, he and Jon become romantically involved in the pages of Superman: Son of Kal-El #5.”

The description of the issue adds that “Following a scene where Superman (Jon Kent) mentally and physically burns out from trying to save everyone that he can, Jay is there to care for the Man of Steel.”
The new series which got underway back in July will follows young Jon — who is the new Superman — as he navigates taking on the responsibilities of a super hero while his father steps back.
This big move also comes just two months after Batman’s sidekick Tim Drake, aka Robin, came out as bisexual in the latest comic series, “Batman: Urban Legends.”
