Will Smith is opening up about a former relationship in his self-titled memoir. The “Fresh Prince” actor wrote about his initial love, Melanie Parker, as he openly discussed the time the two were caught having sex in his mama’s kitchen at 4 a.m.

In the memoir, Smith explained, when he began dating Parker in high school, she moved in with his family so she wouldn’t be placed in foster care.

Smith’s mom allowed Parker to move in under one condition, which was no sex. It wasn’t even three months before the former couple broke the rules and were caught engaging in sexual activity on the kitchen floor.

The actor detailed the moment he was caught doing the act by his mom saying, “She flipped the light switch as she had done tens of thousands of times before. But this time, her eyes landed upon her eldest son and his girlfriend deep in throes of reckless lovemaking,” Smith said, according to The Insider.

The rapper-turned-actor continued, “As a teenager, outside of physical injury, you cannot feel worse than having your mother catch you and your girlfriend doggy-style on her kitchen floor.”

Smith’s mother immediately stopped the couple, and Parker was asked to move out not too long after they were caught.

Smith said, “I’m still not exactly sure why I did what I did that night. To this day, I have no idea what I was thinking. Of all the experiences I am sharing in this book, this is the individual moment of personal behavior that makes the least sense to me.”
