Kevin Durant Fined $25,000 By NBA For Using Cuss Words With A Fan
Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for directing obscene language toward a fan during Friday night’s game in Atlanta.
A fan had a few words for the star late in the second quarter. In the video, that is currently surfacing on social media a fan yelled at Durant saying, “Durant, stop crying!”
The pro player then Responded using multiple cuss words. The statement released by the NBA reads, “Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant has been fined $25,000 for directing obscene language toward a fan, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations.
The incident took place with 28 seconds remaining in the second quarter of the Nets’ 113-105 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 10 at State Farm Arena.”
As we previously reported, that same Friday night game is when Kevin Durant and Trae Young got into a little altercation. The two got into a scuffle on the court.
Kevin Durant did a press conference after the game and said he can agree that he was a little “to rough” with the Atlanta Hawks star, but ended off saying, “Ive known Trae Young since he was 10 years old. That’s the spirit of the game. I got nothing but respect for Trae.”
The Sportscenter Twitter account posted that quote and said “its all love between KD and Trae” Atlanta Hawks point guard, reposted the quote and said “idols become your rivals”
