Fans Worried About Famous Dex After Sharing ‘Strung Out’ Video

Popular rapper Famous Dex has been battling drug addiction for years. Last year, the rapper checked himself into drug rehab after several concerning images went public over the weekend, causing fans and critics to express their concern online.

While it was never officially confirmed what substance or addiction Dex, real name is Dexter Gore Jr., was being treated for the online speculation is that he has been struggling with codeine/pill addiction for a good portion of his career.

And now it appear that the stint in remand didn’t help. The rapper is currently trending on social media with fans being concerned about him after he shared a video looking strung out.

In the video Famous Dex talks to his chains, while kissing the gold jewelry. His words are slurred and he is clearly high off something.

Hopefully the young man can get some help. Last year, NLE Choppa begged Dex’s label to get him some help, to which Dex replied, “He cares, at least somebody cares. He didn’t say nothing wrong, at least somebody cares. I just wanted to say I really appreciated the love and support, but the world on drugs and I look mighty dam fine.”

Dex responded at the time, saying he is not doing any hard drugs.

“Hey fam, I really don’t need you to be saying sh*t like this, bro. Let me tell you something, I want to address this to everybody that’s listening to me. Stop worrying the next muthaf*cka that’s doing drugs […]. The world on drugs, you know what I’m sayin’? I used to love doing whatever,” he said.
