Fat Joe Refers To The Money Challenge As “Self Snitching”
Fat Joe Says The Money Challenge Is “Self Snitching”
The “Money Message Challenge” has been trending on social media in the last week after Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy sent some indirect messages to each other.
A lot of people have joined the challenge, but it appears Fat Joe is tired of seeing artist flexing their money on the gram and advises his younger peers to not jump on the bandwagon.
The veteran rapper went on Instagram Live earlier this week and gave a shout-out to New York Hip Hop legend Busy Bee as the first to embark on the “Money Message Challenge” when he spelled his name out in cash in the legendary 1983 film Wild Style.
“These people, when they get caught, they ask themselves, ‘Damn man, how did [I get caught]?’ You told on yourself!” Fat Joe said. “You haven’t had a legit job in your life, you writing your name with mountains of money — f*** is wrong with you?!
“Nick Cannon said, ‘IRS is watching.’ F***** right! They don’t gotta look far! In fact, all they gotta do is hashtag ‘money challenge.’ Who’s Loko32? Who’s JonJon43? Who’s TheOGPennyLoaf? N-gga, you gone!’
Fat Joe also told fans to follow his lead on how to operate oneself on social media.
“I dare you to look down my Instagram or anywhere on social media and see if Fat Joe has ever pulled out a $100 bill! One! Find the one,” he said.
