Tisha Campbell Recounts When She Was Almost ‘Snatched Up’ By Human Traffickers
Tisha Campbell Uses Her Story To Bring Awareness To Human Trafficking
Tisha Campbell recently took to social media this Friday to share her startling experience with human traffickers.
She explained that she had to call a taxi after she was done filming because Ubers were not available in that area. While noticing a strange van that pulled up, she saw a man in the back who later got out and told her to get in the car.
Tisha explained that the car was in poor condition and refused to get in. Instead, she went back to the lady at the front desk and asked “who’s the guy” who gave her that number. The woman then said, “why would he give you this number?”

Tisha had already felt suspicious but that confirmed something was off. Tisha added in her IG caption.
“This was a video I sent to my brother right after it happened but I felt it important for ppl to be aware. I need for EVERYONE to be overly conscious of themselves and their loved ones. As tonidrivera says it’s SHOPPING SEASON where traffickers try to snatch ppl up!!! If I wasn’t from Newark boyyyyy…”
She went on to say, “If Tony Rivera hadn’t schooled me and my friends on what to look for, SHIT would’ve been real different. PLUS I don’t sound like I look. Also I am thankful to the production for their concern and their understanding.”
“What’s crazy is I went back to the front desk, the guy that gave me the taxi number wasn’t there. I asked the woman where he was. She looks at the number and says, ‘why would he give you this number? This isn’t the normal number,” The Martin actress further explained. “It was a set up fo real.”
