Young Dolph Murder Suspect Justin Johnson AKA Straight Drop Fails To Turn Himself In
After claiming on social media that he would turn himself in, the man suspected of murdering Young Dolph is still on the run.
Johnson, known by his rapper name “Straight Drop,” posted “Turning myself in Monday @201. I’m innocent. I’ll be back sooner than you can blink.”
He has been on the run since November 17. Last week the Memphis Police Department issued a warrant for first degree murder and announced a $15,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts.

Johnson previously served time behind bars after shooting three people at the Billy Hardwick Bowling Alley in 2017. He pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated assault and was sentenced to years in prison, but was let out just months later.
“It’s called the Department of Corrections not the Department of Punishment,” said Judge Chris Craft, Shelby County Criminal Court to Fix Memphis.”
He appeared to be a very impressive young man without a record, and he always admitted to everything he did,” said Craft.
