Body of Missing Texas Man Taylour Young Found In Trunk of His Car
The body of missing 25-year-old Taylour Young was discovered in the trunk of his car, 8 weeks after he went missing.
ABC13 reports that Young was last seen on Dec. 9, 2021, when he went out to run errands during his lunch break in the South Voss and San Felipe area of Houston. Detectives report that Young’s body was discovered on Jan. 19 in the trunk of his car.
Young’s mother shared a heartbreaking statement to Facebook.
It is with great sadness that the mother of #taylouryoung has announced her son has passed. I had hoped he would be found safe, having followed this tragic story from the beginning.

“As I shared Taylours disappearance with the world, I want to share my worldly loss as well. I lost my son, my baby, my friend; and will raise his love, his dog Gigi… During Taylours family time of mourning, I ask that you continue to lift us up in prayer. Be mindful and respectful of our privacy and the fact that the investigation is still ongoing.”
As of now, the cause of death has not yet been determined. He was last seen on surveillance footage driving a 2019 silver Honda Civic near Capital One Bank on South Voss Road in Houston.
Police report that his body was in an advanced state of decomposition in the vehicle that was found at an impound lot. If anyone has any information please compact HPD Homicide Division 713-308-3600.
