Grimes Officially Dating Chelsea Manning Following Break Up With Elon Musk

After breaking up with Elon Musk for the second time, Grimes is officially now dating infamous WikiLeaks leaker Chelsea Manning.

A source close to the alleged couple told Page Six that Grimes and Manning have been living together in Austin despite Manning still owning her apartment in Brooklyn.

Before the announcement, the pair were talking on Twitter for months and left cryptic messages hinting at a possible relationship. Manning,34, liked several tweets that discuss Grimes in addition to her recent story with Vanity Fair where she revealed the birth of her second child Exa Dark Sideræl via surrogate with ex-boyfriend Elon Musk.

Grimes said they were in a “fluid” relationship but announced Thursday that they broke up again. 

“I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid. We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time. … We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it,” she explained.

Manning is well-known for her involvement in the WikiLeaks scandal in 2010 where she leaked thousands of documents to the website. Originally, she was sentenced to serve 35 years in prison after being found guilty of 20 criminal acts which included violating the Espionage Act.

However, her sentence was commuted by then-President Barack Obama in 2017 after serving time.
