NFL Star Dwayne Haskins Parents Didn’t Attend His Funeral

The parents of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins did not attend the NFL baller’s funeral services on Friday.

In an interview with USA Today, Dwayne Sr. and Tamara Haskins explained, “We have never met or spoken to the wife, and we didn’t want our son’s funeral service to be the place we met her for the first time.”

Dwayne was killed April 9 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when he attempted to cross an interstate and was hit by a dump truck. He was 24. Early reports say that Dwayne’s wife Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins made the 911 call, saying he dies accidentally, after running out of gas.

According to reports, last summer, Kalabrya was arrested and charged with battery and domestic violence resulting in bodily harm after an alleged altercation with her NFL baller husband at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

It’s also gathered that Kalabrya two pieced Dwayne and knocked out his teeth.

Police described Dwayne’s injuries as ‘substantial in nature,’ and specified that he had bruising around his mouth, a split lip and was missing a tooth, part of which was discovered on the hotel room floor. According to police, Haskins ‘would most certainly require dental work to repair his teeth.’
