Eminem and 50 Cent have been good friends for a long time and they’ve maintained an healthy relationship all through. It’s well known that Em introduced 50 Cent to the rap game which Fiddy is forever grateful for.

50 Cent wasn’t initially included in the Superbowl Halftime Show. It was Em that made it possible for him to perform at the event.

Eminem reportedly called Jay Z and the NFL that he will not be performing at the Superbowl without 50 Cent. Eventually, 50 Cent made a surprise appearance and it was the icing on the cake for the star-studded crowd.

While every other artist performed a couple of their song, Eminem and 50 Cent gave a performance of their classics “Lose Yourself” and “In Da Club.”

The Detroit icon had the shortest performance time at the show, and reportedly the rapper gave half of his time to his good friend 50 Cent. According to Page Six, Slim Shady “made the request” for 50 Cent to join the halftime show, and the POWER mogul was “happy to do it.”

“They’re friends and he would do anything for him,” an insider said of 50 Cent and Eminem.




According to the source, the rapper went to Sei Less in NYC “straight from the airport” for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner with fiancée Jamira Haines, when numerous individuals, including A Boogie wit Da Hoodie, came to 50 to congratulate him on his performance.
